Things here in California are coming to a close. The show is open, and looking fabulous, and I couldn't ask for more. I have officially finished the program, and now all future success can be credited to the fact that I worked here at PCPA. Not really, but any success that I have will be looked upon by PCPA and it will be mentioned that I worked here. Heck, they still tote that Robin Williams went here, and he didn't even stay with the program. Also on that distinguished list is Zack Effron, who acted here as a Young Performer. Who knew the world was so small.
I have met some fantastic people out here, and I have grown more confident in my craft. I am sad to leave some of them, but it is time for me to move on. To move out of the comfort bubble that has been constructed around me. It is time for the next adventure, which could very well be grad school. I have decided that I want to be a costume designer. Although I also hope to learn more about costume technology and costume crafts. I will be getting my portfolio finished up and then possibly go to U/RTAS. I will go just about anywhere, but will probably go where they are willing to pay me. Not going to mince words with that.
Moving back home should be interesting. I love my parents, but there are things that they don't know, and I will probably never tell them about them. Ignorance is bliss in those regards. Besides, I value my privacy, and I've gotten used to it out here, and I will be striving to keep it. It will be good to be home, but it will be a great incentive for me to keep going and to not "settle".
